Yesterday, I got Persona 3 Fes, an RPG for the Playstation 2 and it is a really cool game. You play as this nameless exchange student who transfers to this school. You meet new people and can join clubs and other activities in school. But at midnight there is a special hour called the "Dark Hour" and this is where the shadows come out. Shadows are creatures of darkness that feed on the minds of people and turn them into monsters or something like that. Anyways the battle system is cool and fast paced. Just the way I like it. After the main game is over, there is a new storyline after that, with new Persona and new stuff to do. I'm glad I picked this game up and now I'm going to get Persona 4 after I'm done with this. Awesome!

You know, There have been a lot of games coming out on the Nintendo DS that I might have to start caving in and getting one myself. There are just so many games out on it that it's amazing. Before many people complained that "there were no games", now people are complaining that "there are too many games". Isn't that weird? I can't believe that it's been five years already since the DS came out. Who knew that the DS would become THE system for RPG?! And on the home console front, the HD twins are cannibalizing each other, and the Wii is aiming to disrupt the "Game Industry". Nintendo realized that in previous generations that the more they focused on graphics and higher horse power, the more they alienated customers new and old. As Nintendo moves up market and aims to bring in the new expanded audience gamers up with them, it will be interesting to see if they can ride the Blue Ocean all the way to the top. Nintendo want's to become a wheel of disruption, where they will keep disrupting the market over and over again. They lost their momentum, but I'm sure that they can get it back. If it wasn't for a game analyst called Sean Malstrom I never would have found out about the Blue Ocean strategy let alone what Nintendo was actually doing. I'm kind of tired of analyst getting arrogant and mouthing off about all this bullshit. I mean Sean Malstrom really makes these guys seem like idiots. This guy knows what he's talking about.

Recently I have been working on my typing skills and it has been improving quite a lot. Right now I'm at 55 WPM with 97% accuracy. It's been great and I can't believe how much better I've gotten. What I really like about the program is that they walk you through the steps, instead of trying to force you into shit you don't even understand. They take their time with you and make sure that you are doing it right. It really is a good program.

Recently, I came across a game called Flipnote Studio. It's made by a Japanese company Hatena and it looks great. And it's FREE. Apparently the game came out last year in japan and was released this month in US-EU. Basically it's a program where you make flipbook sketch animations and you can even make your own sound and add it to the video. There's even a feature that allows you to share it online at the Flipnote.Hatena.Com webstie and look at other peoples work. I really like what I see so far and I can't wait to get a DSi and download the program! Here's some of my favorites:

Is that not cool or what!!! zOMG!!

Well, my mom is interested in making Jewelry herself and she wants me and my dad to join her in the project. I guess it does seem interesting. Making necklaces and bracelets out of beads and other items seems like a cool idea. I guess making my own bracelet sounds kind of cool. So now we have to find a domain name and get the ball rolling. We are now in the midst of learning how to do this damn thing so it could take awhile. But in the end, I guess we will be successful. If you put your mind to something I guess anything is possible. We'll see how this goes.

Well recently I registered to this video game forum called Neogaf. Apparently a lot of people from the video game industry go there and post stuff. The forum is well known for it's.....gif threads, and I've had many a laugh come NPD day and other threads that were made, that genuinely made my ribs hurt.

So yesterday, I decided to join up and have a couple of laughs right? Well as soon as I finished registering, I got an e-mail from them so I click the link expecting to join right away and post some funny ass gifs. BUT, it turns out that you have to wait to join, sometimes up to 3 months to wait. Only one person goes over the accounting process and you are left waiting for months to join up. WTF?! What is going on here! I know that it is a popular gaming forum and all and they need to weed out the spammers from all the others but still. Seems like a long process.

Well, it looks like I won't make it in time for the Tokyo Game Show. I wanted to be there for the meltdowns and the bitter ass tears. :P

I've been looking at some videos of Monster Hunter 3 on youtube these past few weeks and it's been a blast. To be honest, I never played Monster Hunter before, but it looks awesome. You are a hunter of gigantic beast who are so tough, they can tear you in two. What I really like about this game that I've seen so far is that you can't just walk up to them and slash them up. Each monster has different movements and attack patterns. You need to look at them closely and plan your attack.

Anyways, I am really digging this game and I can't wait till it comes out. It looks really cool.

First of all....it's been a long time since i've been to this place hasn't it? Almost a year and a half or something? Well i have been busy with school and nothing but school. I really haven't had the time to check back on the site, let alone write anything on my damn journal. It's been kind of hectic out there in college. I'm doing a-okay with all of my classes and I haven't failed a class since I've been here. As you can probably guess, I have been studying like CRAZY, which means that the time I used to spend here checking up the ususal Anime and Manga stuff, has been cut down to a minimum. Also, like many others (I guess), I just haven't had anything to say lately. I just don't know but....it's been a real drag. And you know, I really DO need to come back and update my journal. Writing is also important and I really do need to keep up my writing skill and to keep up with everything else. But with school and pretty soon finding a job, as well as getting a Drivers Licence, I'll still be busy. I'm almost done with college as well, so I still have some stuff to do, but that dosen't mean I still can't have fun right? That's it really. And with that out of the way, we can get to the fun stuff.

So...did anyone check out the new Gundam Series, Gundam oo? I thought it was pretty awesome. I really did enjoy it. It just seemed to be a bit more realistic in terms of plot and story. I've been checking out some other anime, (which is also one of the reasons why I haven't been on XD)and it's some of the stuff I've seen has been interesting. I'm looking at Basquash! right now and that seems like a really wacky series, but in a good way. It's by the same collaboration of people that brought us Oban Star Racers. You know, the guy who created Macross and some guy from France or some something like that. Really interesting stuff. I still haven't checked out Darker Than Black, and some other series, but I'll get to that eventually.

I've also been reading Berserk as usual One Piece. Things have really gotten CRAZY in both those series. I knew that Beserk was a Dark Fantasy but WOW it really has gotten kind of hectic. And with One Piece we find out more stuff about Luffy's past, and now we learn, that Gold Roger is Ace's father!! And Ace is not really Luffy's blood brother. WHOA!

Speaking of Manga have any of you guys read a series called Vinland Saga? IT'S AWESOME! It's from the same guy who gave us Planetes. You know, the story about cleaning up junk in space? Well this one is a historical piece about Vikings. This little kid, Thorfinn is looking for revenge against the guy who killed his father. But this guy, Askelad is leading the troop of Vikings that he's in. The art is fantastic and the fights remind me of Berserk a little bit. I'm really digging it so far. AWESOME!

Well, a lot has happened. Firstly, I got caught up with some Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix videos, of people enjoying the fuck outta that game. Too bad it won't be released over here. I was really hoping for it, due to the fact that it has added cutsenes that explain the story better. We finally know the name of the Armored dude whose name is "Terra." Aqua is the girl and Ven is the Roxas look a like whose name is actually longer than Ven. The new game will be officially revealed on TGS 2007 which is gonna have me screaming.

I also got caught up in the media for Sony's gamers day which had a ton of new info on games comming out for the PS3,PSP. I saw some Japanese scans for Final Fantasy Dissdia which is a KH Fighting game on PSP. Final Fantasy IV is on the DS and is getting the Final Fantasy III Treatment. Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII looks pretty damn cool. It's supposed to be a prequel to FF 7 and you get to see Sephiroth before he goes crazy and shit. Zack looks cool. I never played FF7 so I don't know what the fuck is going on in the story. The only thing I saw was Advent Children which was cool.

Can't See anymore Anime anymore cause I'm playing it safe. I might give it a go maybe later on this year.

Anyways, that about sums it up. School starts on the 12th of June and like always, I won't be here all the time but I'll update when I can.

Well...my computer is down and has been for quite awhile. It all happened in september and now my comp won't even start up and go to the desktop. On top of all that I'm missing one of the most kick ass shows of the anime season, CODE GEASS the new show by CLAMP. Ya know the same one's who made Chobits and Tubasa Chronicle and shit like that. I missed out on so much stuff and it's killing me. I have to resort to using a computer lab at my college. I really wanna get back on the net but I gotta fix my shit first.

Anyways this is just me going on a rant about how I'm missing my computer and how it's killing me.
